Their flight to the honeymoon destination Playa del Carmen was long and tiring but exciting. Twelve hours spent on the airplane was enough to fill in the hearts of Albina and Marcel with big expectations about the upcoming three week romantic adventure.
Their Playa del Carmen honeymoon started in November, but was planned in details long time ago. The same as many young couples they decided to get as many impressions from Mexico as possible. And so upon their arrival they had booked already several tours. Those tours promised to pick them up and show them around some famous places along the Yucatan area.
When we met for the honeymoon photoshoot in Playa del Carmen they shared some stories and impressions about what they have seen. They felt in love with Mexico, its culture, Mayan architecture and cuisine. Although Germany, where they are from, can also be proud of having outstanding examples of architecture and art, what made Mexico stand out is the perfect combination of the historical side with the nature-beach ambiance. I couldn’t agree more.
Even though during their honeymoon vacation they were exposed to many rainy days, that took control of the weather in Playa del Carmen for a couple of days, still there were more sunny moments. And on the day of the Playa del Carmen honeymoon photoshoot the clouds swiftly moved away, and left us enjoying blue sky with soft, golden light presented by the sunset hours.
The love they feel towards each other is true and sincere. You can feel it the moment you meet them: the way they talk to each other, hold hands, the words they say, smiles all that can tell you they are in love. How wonderful it is to know that there is one more happily married couple in this world.
When they received the photographs it was already Christmas time and back in Germany it was snowing. In her email she wrote to me that the photographs came right on time and they warmed them up by bringing in positive vibes, reminding them of the great time they had during their Caribbean vacation in Playa del Carmen.
