Mexico is the country of the eternal summer where the cycle of sunny days and not less hot nights mean that vacations here will turn out to be one of the best vacations in your life.
Despite the fact that many people come here in order to relax on the beaches under the hot Mexican sun it is still necessary to plan your days trying to avoid staying under the direct sunlight during several daytime hours. The sun in Cancun, Playa del Carmen and all the Riviera Maya is very hot, especially during the summer time. For those of you who are planning a photosession or a wedding ceremony in one of these beautiful locations should pay even more attention to the proper time to have them. Based on my own experience, after living and making many photo sessions in the Riviera Maya area I decided to write this article where you can find the most preferable time periods for the wedding ceremony and the romantic sunset photo sessions.
The duration of daylight hours naturally changes from season to season, still at any month the time period from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. is considered the less desirable for the photo session or the wedding ceremony. The sun at this moment is extremely hot and makes it practically impossible to stay under it for a long time.
For the sunset photo session is better to start 1.5 hours prior to the actual sunset and the table below shows the time with this calculation.
