The pearl of Mexico, the Riviera Maya seashore and Cancun have been attracting tourists for a long time from all over the world. On these famous Mexican resorts everything is possible: to relax on the beautiful white beaches, to swim in the amazing turquoise Caribbean sea and to enjoy the famous Mayan pyramids and ruins.
Many couples are visiting Riviera Maya to enjoy and have fun on their honeymoon vacations. While walking along the Caribbean coasts and admiring the beauty of nature, many people wish to stop such moment forever. This is a task for the photographer.
Sunset photosessions is the best option for a honeymoon vacations. This is the time when the burning daytime sun goes away leaving space for the evening freshness. This is the unique time of the day when the sky shimmers with different tints of blue, pink, dark blue and golden. Very often the sunset photography is called the golden hour.
Sunset portrait photography as well as sunset beach photography always appears to be very diversified on colors and emotions. Even taking into consideration the fact that in the Riviera Maya and Cancun you can’t admire the direct sunset on the side of the sea, still you can see echoes of this magical time in the colors of the sky.
Sunset photosessions last no more than 1 hour so it is very important to check the time of sunset and to discuss it with your photographer. Also keep in mind that the time of the sunset is different in the summer and winter. After the sun disappears on the horizon the time left for the photosession will be no more than 20 – 30 minutes, so the best time to start the photoshoot will be 30 minutes before the sun goes down.
Real nature’s symphony beauty, vivid colors of sunset, your sincere feelings and the mastery of your photographer are the most important things that will help to make really memorable photos.
Recently I made a sunset photosession for Molly and Thomas on the beach in Playa del Carmen. They came here for their honeymoon to celebrate the union of two hearts in love. It was very nice to meet them and to capture forever some precious moments of their wedding vacation.

September 29, 2016Hello,
I am getting married in Playa del Carmen (Grand Sunset Princess) on November 12, 2016. I am looking for photos exactly like this during the sunset. Can you tell me what time a photosession should start to get the sunset in November in that area? and I see you said the session is about 1 hour is that because the sun sets quickly?
Regards,

October 2, 2016Hello Claudia,
In November the best time to do the sunset photo session is 4.45 p.m. – 5.30 p.m. And the best time for the wedding ceremony is 3.00 p.m. – 5.00 p.m.
In November it gets dark very early. And the sunset period itself is very short.
