However, this second island is farther from Cancun and requires more time to travel around it. A trip to Isla Mujeres takes only 20 min on a comfortable ferry. Tulum is famous for its eco-hotels, “Las Cabanas” where everything, including restaurants, stores, and bars, is decorated in chic boho style. Apart from this unique design, the other important attraction is Tulum beach, where you are surrounded only by miles of white sand, turquoise water, and tropical nature.

The best time of the day to propose in Cancun, Isla Mujeres, Riviera Maya?

In Cancun, the best time of the day for a proposal photo session is late afternoon, from 5-7.30 pm. The exact time depends on the season of the year. The same applies for Isla Mujeres and Riviera Maya (Tulum, Playa del Carmen included).
